    BY. Lone Pine Eucalyptus Gin

                      Collaboration story

Our collaboration with Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary began with a simple question: what happens to the eucalyptus leaves after the koalas have had their fill? Every morning before sunrise, the Lone Pine team hand-harvests the youngest, most tender leaves to feed their koalas. Once these fussy eaters have taken what they need, the remaining leaves are mulched for landscaping the sanctuary. We saw potential, not in what was left over, but in what it could become.
We now repurpose those post-feedout eucalyptus leaves through distillation, capturing their delicate aroma as a key botanical in a special-release gin. The spent botanicals are transformed into spirits, essential oils and hydrosols, while leftover materials return to the earth as compost.
5% of proceeds are donated to wildlife charities and research groups working to protect Australia’s most vulnerable species.
The result: a product that tastes good and does good. This collaboration brings together tourism, conservation, sustainability, and craft distillation in one shared narrative, expanding both brands’ reach and meaning.

Aston Verde - Aston Martin Queensland

                      Collaboration story

For the launch of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish in Queensland, BY.ARTISANS was engaged to craft a bespoke spirit that reflected the brand’s precision, sophistication, and unmistakable identity.
The brief: create a gin worthy of Aston Martin - refined, distinctive, and unmistakably aligned with the British Racing Green heritage of the marque. We responded with Aston Verde Vetiver Gin; a custom spirit infused with vetiver for its smoky, earthy profile and layered complexity, designed to mirror the depth and elegance of the car itself. A proprietary botanical tint was developed to match Aston Martin’s iconic green, creating a visual link between car and liquid.
We produced seven individually numbered 700ml bottles — 001 to 007 — a nod to Bond heritage and the exclusivity Aston Martin clients expect. Each bottle was presented as a collector’s piece. In addition, 99 x 200ml bottles were gifted to invited guests as a memorable takeaway from the launch event, extending the experience and reinforcing the Aston Martin brand in a premium, sensory format.

Papaya Liqueur - McLaren Gold Coast

                      Collaboration story

McLaren Gold Coast presented us with a challenge - to create an orange-themed spirit for a branded bar pop-up at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The goal was to connect with high-value automotive and marine audiences in a premium setting and bring the McLaren brand to life in a glass.
Instead of reaching for a generic orange spirit, we developed something more distinctive; a vibrant orange liqueur made from fresh Queensland papaya, chosen to match McLaren’s signature ‘Papaya Orange’ brand colour. Served with sparkling wine, it became an instant standout, both visually and on the palate.
We designed the full bar experience around this concept, creating a seamless brand presence that blended performance with refreshment. The drink was exclusive to the event, making it a talking point and driving foot traffic directly to McLaren’s activation.

Legacy Links Gin (Jack Watts Legacy Charity)

                      Collaboration story

The Watts family reached out to BY.ARTISANS to help support a very personal and meaningful cause, the Jack Watts Legacy Golf Day, raising funds for the Mater Foundation’s Rare Cancer Hub in honour of Jack Watts.
In response, we crafted Legacy Links Gin; a bespoke, golf-themed spirit created as both a one-off auction bottle and a limited online release of 200 bottles. Each bottle carried a story of connection, with communities and supporters coming together through craft, purpose, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
40% of all gross sales were donated, raising $1,932 for the Mater Foundation. These funds are helping to support rare cancer research, clinical trials, and patient care through the Mater Hospital.
This collaboration stands as a reminder that every bottle can tell a story and sometimes, that story can change lives.

    Clovella Gin (Coronis Foundation)

                      Collaboration story

The Coronis Foundation has built a firm reputation in Queensland as a force for good and a consistent commitment to community impact.
Our collaboration centred on a custom Festival Edition Gin for the Clovella Fundraising Event, distilled as a single batch with Queensland botanicals, mandarin, warm spice, brown sugar and citrus notes that reflect the heart of our region.
The one-of-a-kind 3L Jeroboam and ten numbered 700mL bottles were auctioned and raffled at the Clovella Festival, raising over $4,000 for Mater Little Miracles.
Mater Little Miracles supports the tiniest and most vulnerable lives, providing life-saving treatment, research, and care for premature and critically ill babies and their families at the Mater Mothers’ Neonatal Critical Care Unit. Every dollar raised helps ensure these newborns have a fighting chance to grow, thrive, and return home to their families.
Together with the Coronis Foundation, this collaboration demonstrates how craft can become a catalyst for care.

Sky Pearl Gin (China Southern Airlines)

                      Collaboration story

In celebration of the growing connection between Brisbane and Guangzhou, BY.ARTISANS partnered with China Southern Airlines and Brisbane Airport to create a bespoke spirit for guests attending their joint showcase event.
Hosted at our distillery in West End, the evening marked the airline’s expanding network of flights from Brisbane (BNE) to Guangzhou (CAN) and beyond; a symbol of increasing cultural and commercial exchange between Australia and Southern China.
Drawing inspiration from this journey, we crafted a gin concept that captures the essence of travel, connection, and discovery. The name Sky Pearl pays homage to China Southern’s Sky Pearl Club; a nod to loyalty, prestige and the shared experience of travel. The tagline “Taste what travel CAN be” plays on Guangzhou’s airport code (CAN), transforming it into a statement of possibility and connection.
The gin itself tells this story through flavour. From osmanthus blossoms and lychee (iconic to Guangzhou) to Australian kumquat, lemon myrtle and Tasmanian pepperberry, each botanical reflects a dialogue between two regions. Together, they create a spirit that embodies cultural exchange: light, floral, citrus-led and gently spiced, mirroring the journey between CAN to BNE and beyond.
