BY.ARTISANS and Jack Watts Legacy proudly present Legacy Links Gin — 2026 Edition, a limited single release of just 200 bespoke bottles, crafted in honour of Jack Watts.

Inspired by the enduring connections Jack created, Legacy Links is also a tribute to the classic game of golf and the Jack Watts Legacy Golf Day. This year’s motto, “Together, we drive hope when all is lost,” reflects the purpose behind every bottle.

40% of every purchase is donated to Jack Watts Legacy, supporting the Mater Foundation and rare cancer patients. Each bottle helps fund pioneering research and compassionate care, while offering a crisp, balanced gin crafted with native botanicals, lemon myrtle, cinnamon myrtle, Tasmanian pepperberry and eucalyptus.

Mater Foundation

Mater Foundation is an iconic Queensland fundraising and philanthropic institution, committed to providing exceptional care through health, education and research.  It meets a profoundly satisfying mission to improve the health and wellbeing of our community and to continue the Mater tradition of care and compassion.

Mater Foundation helps to underpin an extensive network of hospitals across Queensland, a world-class research institute and a nationally accredited education provider.

Research is the single greatest tool we have in the fight against cancer. This is why Mater is heavily focused both on treating cancer today, and improving diagnostics and treatments for patients into the future.

Additional Information

Partnership structure

Legacy Links is produced in collaboration with Jack Watts Legacy Charity. For each bottle sold, $48 is paid to Mater Foundation, supporting rare cancer research.

It ensures the partnership is transparent, compliant with Australian tax and consumer law, and focused on measurable impact.

How funds are transferred

At the conclusion of the pre-order period, BY.ARTISANS will reconcile total bottle sales and remit an amount calculated as $48 x total number of bottles sold, to Mater Foundation. Funds are transferred directly to Mater Foundation and allocated to their rare cancer research programs.

Production and sustainability

Legacy Links is produced only after the pre-order period closes on 11 September 2026. This approach avoids overproduction and waste, ensuring bottles are made specifically to meet demand rather than speculative volume.

A maximum of 200 bottles will be produced as part of this release. Once the release is complete, no additional bottles will be made.

Delivery and collection

Bottles are expected to be ready for dispatch or collection from approximately 25 September 2026. Customers will receive confirmation once production is complete and orders are ready to ship or collect.

Important note on tax deductibility

The purchase of Legacy Links gin is not tax-deductible for customers. If customers wish to make a tax-deductible donation, this must be done directly with Mater Foundation.
